Four Day Writing Workshop Retreat
Whispering Woodlands is pleased to host what is an annual event for this group, starting the new year out with a
4 day writing workshop. Well organized, and well attended. Writing exercises, outdoor walks, sharing, practice - all
a great experience of writing nourishment. Envious anyone? Hoping to get clearance for others to join in next time...
They also nourish the body and soul! (see photos!)

I have been asked to demonstrate
and lead people of all ages, with and without experience, in hands on bookmaking experiences in correlation with The
Saint John's Bible, 'Illuminating the Word' exhibit
at the Chazen Museum of Art, refered to as Art Spin on the exhibition related special events, the
afternoon of Sat Feb 21st. No registrion, no fee. Mead Whitter Lobby Refer to www.chazen.wisc.edu for more information.
As a product of the UW Art
Department, an alumni, Art Ed '79 and Master of Fine Arts '86, I am pleased to share and possibly ignite an interest in this
fine institution along with the diversity and history of the book arts. Come, take in the exhibit, it is quite exceptional,
and take a little time to explore some simple book structures.
